In our initial conversation (in person or virtually), this is the time where we’ll get to know each other and decide if we’d like to work together. You’ll learn more about how I work and I’ll understand more about your life, your specific circumstances, the timing for when you want to be in your new home, and your expectations about your home purchase. From this discussion we’ll create your ultimate wish list that includes the criteria of what you’d like in a home, what you dislike, plus some of your must-haves.

The next step in buying your new home is for you to get pre-approved by a trusted, local lender so you know your home buying budget and can make an offer on a home. The last thing you want to do is fall in love with a neighborhood or a home that’s simply outside of your price range!
I’ll be sending you listings that meet your wishlist criteria and I’ll also be setting you up on our MLS listing alert system where new listings will be sent straight to your inbox automatically. This will be an integral part of your home search process as it will allow us to collaborate on properties you’d like to see more of or less of. After browsing homes online, we’ll visit those that you like in person to see if it’s a match. Some buyers find their perfect home on our first property tour, and some take a little more time to narrow down their ideal neighborhood and overall characteristics of what an ideal home has or doesn’t have! Whether it takes 1 week or 1 year to find your ideal home, I’ll be with you every step of the way so you feel confident in your home purchase.
STEP 3
When you find the home that checks all your wishlist boxes, the next step will be to do our due diligence and learn as much as we can about this home and the market prior to writing an offer. This is often a time-critical step, especially if there are other potential buyers. You can rest assured that I will go above and beyond for you, and provide you as much information as is available so you can make an informed decision about your offer. Once we’ve submitted your offer I’ll work tirelessly to negotiate, on your behalf, the best terms and sales price until you have an accepted offer.
